Jack Black’s career is on fire. With his surprise hit KUNG FU PANDA (an older professional was watching it next to me on a plane recently, cute) and his surefire blockbuster TROPIC THUNDER, it’s safe to say that studios must have a lot of confidence in our portly little friend.

In an “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” spirit, Mr. Black has decided to re-team with Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, the writing team behind KUNG-FU PANDA. This time around, the film will be a live action parody of the Bourne films, in which Jack will play an American who finds himself washed up on the shores of Cuba with complete and utter amnesia. He comes to the conclusion that he must be a superspy, which is exactly what he is not. Hilarity no doubt, ensues. A director or release date are yet to be announced.
