Trio of names join Amanda Seyfried in serial killer thriller Gone

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Back at the beginning of February Jake told you about a serial killer/kidnap thriller heading our way called GONE. You guys remember that? It was coming our way from director Heitor Dhalia and scribe Allison Burnett. Oh plus it’s going to star Amanda Seyfried (below). Ringing any bells?

Well word over at Variety today has three more names joining the project. Nothing worth writing home about but perhaps worth keeping an eye on. So who’s joining Seyfriend in the potentially intense thriller? Emily Wickersham, Wes Bentley and Jennifer Carpenter (right). That’s who! Pretty solid right? Right.

The thriller revolves around a young woman named Jill (Seyfried) who returns home from her night shift to find her sister’s bed empty. She’s convinced the serial killer who kidnapped her two years before has come back to finish the job.

But the police do not believe Jill, who knows time is running out. With no one to turn to, she sets off to find her sister and face her abductor once and for all.

GONE is set to start filming next month so I’m sure we’ll have a lot more updates heading our way soon. As always once we hear more on the project you can bet we’ll pass the good word along to all of you!
