Trailer: Latest season of Channel Zero opens a Dream Door

Every time a trailer is released for a new season of the Syfy anthology series Channel Zero, I check it out and think to myself, “I really should watch this show.” Then I never get around to watching the show. I’ve missed three seasons so far; Candle Cove, No-End House, and Butcher’s Block… but with a trailer having been released for the upcoming fourth season, I’m again thinking to myself, “I really need to watch Channel Zero.”

Written and executive produced by showrunner Nick Antosca, the latest season of Channel Zero is directed by CHEAP THRILLS’ Evan Katz and is based on Charlotte Bywater’s creepypasta story Hidden Door, a.k.a. I Found a Hidden Door in My Cellar, and I Think I’ve Made a Big Mistake. Titled Channel Zero: Dream Door, the season stars Brandon Scott, Maria Sten, Steven Robertson, Steven Weber, and Barbara Crampton.

The story follows

newlyweds Jillian and Tom, who have each brought secrets into their marriage. When they discover a strange door in their basement, those secrets start to threaten their relationship — and their lives. 

The trailer for Dream Door can be seen below, and it contains the unnerving tone and strange sights I’ve come to expect from a Channel Zero trailer… One of these days I really am going to watch this show.

Channel Zero: Dream Door makes its premiere on Syfy on October 26th.
