Trailer: Blumhouse & Netflix’s Family Blood starring Vinessa Shaw

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

It was just last week that we let you guys know Blumhouse’s upcoming family drama, vampire flick FAMILY BLOOD is going to be hitting Netflix this March. And today we have the film’s trailer for your viewing pleasure.

I’m down for this movie without even seeing so much as a frame of the trailer. I’m a big fan of Vinessa Shaw from her work in such classics as HOCUS POCUS and Alexandre Aja’s remake of Wes Craven’s THE HILLS HAVE EYES so just her mug headlining the film is enough to get me to tune in.

What about you? Are you excited for Blumhouse’s FAMILY BLOOD starring Vinessa Shaw? Check out the trailer below and then make sure to hit us up and let us know how excited you are about this new film in the comments below or on social media!

Synopsis:

Ellie, a recovering drug addict, has just moved to a new city with her two teenage children. She has struggled to stay sober in the past and is determined to make it work this time, finding a stable job and regularly attending her meetings. Unfortunately, new friends, a new job, and the chance of a new life, can’t keep Ellie from slipping once again. Her life changes when she meets Christopher – a different kind of addict – which forces her daughter and son to accept a new version of Ellie.

The film is directed by Sonny Mallhi and stars Vinessa Shaw, James Ransone, Colin Ford, Ajiona Alexus, and Eloise Lushina. FAMILY BLOOD hits Netflix March 31st.
