From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series is a show with real bite, and it's gearing up for a killer second season, premiering on Robert Rodriguez's El Rey Network on August 25th. In anticipation, a set of new character posters has drifted in, showing off the wild west nature of the show, which is veering off from the plot of the film it's based on in its second season:
The show travels between Mexico and the edgy, tricked-out Texas of Robert Rodriguez. It also deepens and complicates the core relationships among the characters while adding new faces and new dynamics. Our characters are all living in very separate worlds: Santánico and Richie are outside Houston, doing their best Bonnie and Clyde; Seth and Kate are scraping by South of the Border; and Freddie Gonzalez is protecting his wife and young daughter in the suburbs. Carlos Madrigal and Scott Fuller emerge from the Titty Twister changed men. They will all come together once again – this time facing off against an even bigger threat.
The season's ten episodes are being directed by Robert Rodriguez, THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT's Eduardo Sanchez, HALLOWEEN 4's Dwight Little, Alejandro Brugués, Joe Menendez, and showrunner Carlos Coto.
The posters, shown in full below, feature returning cast members Brandon Soo Hoo and Wilmer Valderrama together as Carlos Madrigal and Scott Fuller, newcomer Esai Morales as Lord Amancio Malvado, returning stars Zane Holtz and Eiza González as Richie Gecko and Santánico Pandemonium, Madison Davenport and D.J. Cotrona as Kate Fuller and Seth Gecko, and new addition Danny Trejo as The Regulator with Jesse Garcia as Freddie Gonzalez.
And though she is not displayed in a poster, Demi Lovato will be featured in a guest star appearance on the show. Check 'em out!
