Paramount sets Josh Schwartz’s Halloween comedy Fun Size for October 2012

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Nope, no shocker here. When else would you release a Halloween comedy? December?

The only thing remotely eyebrow-raising about the news that Paramount has set Josh Schwartz’s teen-romp FUN SIZE for an October 12, 2012 release date, is how early in the month it is. I guess the thinking is the movie will perform strong enough for the first two and half weeks that it’s still in theaters by the time the 31st rolls around. We shall see…

FUN SIZE centers on a sarcastic teenage girl who is forced to take her little brother trick-or-treating on Halloween, then loses him and must find him before their mother finds out.

Victoria Justice (below), Riki Londhome, Johnny Knoxville, Jane Levy, Chelsea Handler, Thomas Mann, Thomas Middleditch, Thomas McDonell, Osric Chau, Jackson Nicoll, Ana Gasteyer, Josh Pence, Holmes Osborne, James Pumphrey, Willam Belli and Peter Navy Tuiasosopo all take part in the film.

Once more, FUN SIZE opens October 12, 2012.
