Jeepers Creepers 3 wraps production

Looks like the long-awaited sequel to JEEPERS CREEPERS has wrapped production. We let you guys know back in February that the new film was shooting. We then let you know scream queen Adrienne Barbeau had joined the cast, only for her to deny her involvement and Meg Foster stepped into the role (supposedly) first offered to Barbeau.

News of production wrapping comes to us from Horror Freak News (a trusted source) who cite a page called HorrorThisYear with the story. That site claims the filming has wrapped via "verified twitter accounts related to the sequel".

I have not been able to find these "verified accounts" but being the sequel began filming in on February 20th, and it is now (almost) April 20th, a two-month shoot seems about right.

Either way, JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 will be hitting us sooner rather than later. Possibly within 2017. But there isn't currently a set release date for the controversial flick.

I'll let you know when I hear anything further.

JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 synopsis:

“Trish Jenner is now a mother of a teenage son named Darry, named after the brother she lost 23 years ago. Trish has a recurring nightmare where her son suffers the same fate as her brother did, killed by the Creeper. Determined to prevent this from happening, Trish, who is now a rich and powerful woman, sets out on a final quest with Jack Taggart Sr. and Jr. to end the Creeper’s reign of terror once and for all. The Creeper fights back in gory glory as its enemies grow closer than ever before to learning the secret of its dark origins.”

JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 is written and directed by Victor Salva and stars Gina Philips (see below), Meg Foster, Brandon Stacy, and Stan Shaw. Jonathan Breck returns as the Creeper as well.
