Jeepers Creepers 3 might hit theaters this summer

Do you remember Victor Salva’s JEEPERS CREEPERS? Well, it seems (via an anonymous scooper, so take it with a grain of salt) that JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 has a possible release date. Let the creeper fly!

JEEPERS CREEPERS 3: CATHEDRAL is set to haunt theaters on June 1st 2013. This is really interesting considering that we haven’t heard anything about the flick since Salva talked about making it in 3D.

JEEPERS CREEPERS 3: CATHEDRAL is being penned and directed by the series creator Victor Salva and will feature Ray Wise (JEEPERS CREEPERS 2), Jonathan Breck (who plays the infamous creeper) and Gina Phillips (Trish in the original movie).

The plot of JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 goes like this: “Trish Jenner (Phillips) is now a mother of a teenage son named Darry, named after the brother she lost 23 years ago (played in the original movie by Justin Long). Trish has a recurring nightmare where her son is being killed by the Creeper. Determined to prevent this from happening, Trish, who is now a rich and powerful woman, sets out on a final quest with Jack Taggart Sr. and Jr. to end the Creeper’s reign of terror once and for all.”
