It's not very often we get to see a smile on the face of some of horror's most famous characters, but these behind-the-scenes photos do exactly that and it's pretty trippy! One of the many reasons I became such a fan of this genre is not only because of my love for the characters themselves, but the actors behind the masks and the make-up that bring these icons to life. These guys work their asses off to haunt our dreams so sometimes it's nice to see them having a little fun on set.

Below is an image gallery for you folks to chew on and I made sure to put my favorite pic first because it seriously cracked my shit up. It's a shot of Robert Englund decked out in his Freddy gear while rocking out with a boombox—it really doesn't get much better than that!
