Groovy! Bruce Campbell confirms plans to star in Evil Dead TV series

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

"Hail to the king, baby."

On Friday we learned that Sam Raimi was developing a television series based on his EVIL DEAD franchise alongside his brother Ivan and Ash himself, Bruce Campbell. Now Campbell has taken to Twitter to answer a fans concerns about his involvement, sharing that the plan is for Campbell to star in the series. Check out the exchange below:

While there are no solid details on the show yet available it is only logical to assume that Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash. This brings up a few questions for me. Will this proposed television series replace the long-awaited ARMY OF DARKNESS sequel? Will it tie into last years' Fede Alvarez-helmed EVIL DEAD? And what does this series mean for the sequel to that film? Guess we'll have to wait and see. More on the EVIL DEAD television series as we hear it.
