Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen in talks to fight against Godzilla

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Frank Darabont is still writing his GODZILLA script. Meanwhile, the studio continues to assemble the cast of the upcoming movie and let me tell you that Elizabeth Olsen and Bryan Cranston are in talks to fight the huge monster-from-outer-space!

Sources stress that no deals will be done until the finished script materializes. Gareth Edwards is directing the dilio with Warner Bros. distributing. Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are the producers alongside Mary Parent, who helped produce PACIFIC RIM for Legendary Pictures.

Character descriptions, along with other plot details, are under wraps for now. The movie is set to hit theaters on May 16th, 2014.

Elizabeth Olsen did MARTHA, MARCY, MAY, MARLENE and the SILENT HOUSE remake. She also stars in the remake of OLDBOY, set to debut later this year. On the other hand, with BREAKING BAD going into its final season, Cranston should pick up more roles on the big screen.
