Beyond Skyline officially begins pre-production

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

Back in May, we let you in on the intriguing news that SKYLINE, the indie alien invasion flick from The Brothers Strause, would be getting a sequel in 2015. Though it’s unsure whether or not anyone is actually clamoring for a follow-up to the sci-fi thriller, its profitability is undeniable (it made $65 million worldwide on a $10 million budget), so a sequel makes a bit of sense.

Just a few days ago the movie’s official Facebook page made the announcement the movie has commenced pre-production, with location scouting underway. If BEYOND SKYLINE didn’t seem like a reality before, it sure does now.

The first film’s co-writer Liam O’Donnell directs from a script written by he and Joshua Cordes; Greg and Colin Strause will produce. No cast has been revealed yet.
