Bates Motel welcomes in Jaime Ray Newman

A&E’s Bates Motel has invited in a new guest. Deadline reports Jaime Ray Newman has joined the PSYCHO prequel series as Rebecca Hamilton, an old flame of Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) with whom she’s still very much in love.

Bates Motel is entering its fourth season on A&E; a specific debut date hasn’t been announced but word on the street is that it will premiere in March. It has at least two more seasons locked down.

Bates Motel serves as a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film Psycho and provides viewers with an intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates unravels through his teenage years.
