A supernatural pregnancy is at the center of new POV horror flick Delivery

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

While we might be gradually tiring of the POV/found footage/mockumentary horror subgenre, it’s clear that it’s not going anywhere. The fact is, as the market is flooded with this type of film, it becomes increasingly difficult to get excited about any of the offerings. However, with the right hook, a found footage movie can still entice.

Such is the case with DELIVERY, which brings the horror closer that it’s ever been: in the womb! That’s right, this flick evidently deals with an expecting couple who discover that their unborn child might not be a little bundle of joy. Read on for the synopsis:

Delivery tells the story of Kyle and Rachel Massy, a young couple who agree to document their first pregnancy for a family-oriented reality show. The production spirals out-of-control after the cameras capture a series of unexplained events, leading Rachel to believe that a malevolent spirit has possessed their unborn child.

Of course, the possessed baby angle isn’t exactly fresh, but this sounds like it might be plenty disturbing… if done well.

Written by Brian Netto & Adam Schindler and directed by Netto, DELIVERY is currently in post-production. You can hit up the official website right HERE, although there isn’t much to see yet. Become a fan on Facebook HERE.
