Frank I mean, not Statham. I like they're back in France, I like Robert Knepper is on board, I like that the gimmick here is less obviously a rip-off of "Crank" (oddly enough since Statham was in that, too) than the second one's trailer was a rip-off of "Man on Fire."
I didn't much care for the first sequel, but "The Transporter" has a special place for me as one film I always watch and tell myself I shouldn't, but I still enjoy the hell outta that thing. It's hopelessly corny, with a hair-brained plot, and I tend to enjoy more thoughtful and three-dimensional movies, but damn if it doesn't rope me in every time! |
