Boy, talk about effective marketing. Just this poster alone for HOSTEL 2 makes me want to barf. Really, it’s just a close-up of a steak but within the context of the movie, it gives me the heebie-jeebies in the best possible way. I’m still not sure HOSTEL really needed a sequel and whether it will be as effective as the original, but I’m certainly intrigued. As is the case with most edgy marketing pieces, this one sadly is not for the US. According to our friends at IGN, where the poster debuted, this is the international poster. BAH! C’mon Lionsgate, give us some of the good stuff stateside! HOSTEL 2 – sorry, ELI ROTH’S HOSTEL 2 – will be in theaters next summer. Click on the poster below to see the full image at IGN.
