this is the horror movie of the century! no matter how hard you try and make the next best horror movie, NOTHING stands in the way of jason voorhees, he's a horror icon who demands every bit of respect from everyone! This rehash is long overdue and is going to rule!! it has everything you expect and more, the original was good and still is in the hearts of the true fans, and was a stepping stone for horror, this remake has the back story element that we all know, its great that they have beefed up Jason and he's now actualy a part of this story, lets hope it leads the way for a brand new franchise to put along the old one... !!!!JASON RULES!!!! |

You say Saw repeats itself. Friday the 13th did exactly that also. Now I have nothing against either, but your argument is not valid. 13th was pretty much about reviving Jason to take on more people...everytime. Saw is more intelligent, makes you think, and is just better in my opinion. |

Considering they retell the Jason origin in the sequels, this is really just looking like a regular sequel.
Personally, I'd rather they do a Versus series with Jason. First, he beat Freddy, next up, Leatherface? Michael Myers? Predator? Come on, Jason Vs. Predator would be fun. |

Actually, I don't think (unless I'm mistaken) that this is a remake of the first FRIDAY film, but rather just a collage of parts 2-4. At least, that’s what it sounded like from an interview with the director or whatever. |

well, im not one for remake's less they are original yet keep to the core story, now by the look's of the trailer Jason is gonna be a real bad ass this time, i mean didnt we just see him f'in run in the trailer with machete in hand? THAT would scare the piss out of me more than the lumbering walking like im a old fart jason........i know it got my blood pumping when i saw him running cuz i knew she was dead....lol lets pray it will rock |
