“The Office” star Jenna Fischer must get insanely tired of people referring to her as “adorable” so I’ll kindly use another adjective. The scrumptious star of NBC’s hit comedy “The Office,” Jenna Fischer, has signed on to co-star with John C. Reilly in the upcoming comedy WALK HARD. The role will be Fischer’s first lead role in a feature since “The Office” launched. The film is a paux biopic based on a musician that never existed. Reilly will play Dewey Cox, a troubled musician, with the ineffable Fischer starring as his love interest Darlene. Jake Kasdan, son of Lawrence, will direct the film from a script he co-wrote with Judd Apatow (THE 40-YEAR-OLD VIRGIN). Fischer is currently wrapping up Season 3 of “The Office” and will film WALK HARD while on hiatus this spring. She can be seen next in the Will Ferrell comedy BLADES OF GLORY, where she plays the love interest of Jon Heder’s character.
