First trailer for AMC’s The Walking Dead debuts

Alright, so it’s not a movie, but it’s pretty damn close, and I suspect that a number of you are as excited for The Walking Dead as I am.

AMC is the king of good TV between Mad Men and Breaking Bad (but what the hell is the deal with Rubicon? BORING), and so the fact that they’re doing a zombie show with Frank Darabont is something to behold.

This is the four and a half minute trailer that was shown at Comic-Con, that AMC feels is best viewed by the general public a full month later. It gives you a taste of what to expect from the series. Which is pure awesomeness. With a good cast and perhaps the best zombie makeup effects in history, and we’ve got a surefire hit on our hands.
