It's definitely going to be cheesy fun, but thats the best for Sandler. Billy Madsion will always be his best film.
I alwo want to note the awesome appearance by Shelley Berman, (Who plays Zohan's dad in the trailer). He plays Larry David's dad in Curb Your Enthusiasm! Fabulous actor... :) |

I've actually already seen this movie at one of its prescreening text audience things, those ones they do when they're afraid a movie will bomb.
In actuality, this movie is very much like getting back to early Sandler, think HAPPY GILMORE but with an accent.
I was tickled with most of it (Rob needs to find someone else to cling to, however), loved Kazan (who practically makes the movie with how laid back she is about making "the sticky") and while I love Emmanuelle, she's just the pretty distraction. Which, because she looks just so damn smokin' hot in this, you don't mind. (Plus, it's nice to see a non-white blonde girl play the hottie.)
For those wondering how much of Mariah Carey's involvement is in the movie, don't fret. It's mere minutes and it's not painful. |

Wow. That was fucking hilarious. I'm glad to see Sandler returning to his comedic roots, but at the same time doing a completely different type of comedy. He's playing a completely different character than he usually does, which is why I think a lot of people get tired of his comedy, they are pretty much all the same character! I'm excited as hell for this now. |
