Editing with The Hulk! May. 21, 2008
Source: JoBlo.com by: JimmyO

After talking with the director of THE INCREDIBLE HULK during an edit bay visit (one which you will be reading the full report on soon), Louis Leterrier and producers Gale Anne Hurd and Kevin Feige all really want you to know that this new and improved Hulk is "totally separate from the original film.". "This is not a sequel... this is not an origin story." But they did reveal that this would be a "chase movie" so look forward to action that is closer in tone to the original series with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno (who is also featured in the new film).

Truthfully, I felt that the official trailer looked weak and wasn't looking forward to seeing THE INCREDIBLE HULK kick arse on the big screen, but what I saw today has changed my outlook. This looks like it might just be what the original film should have been. The CG Hulk looks much better than I thought he would and I get the feeling that Louis has a perfect vision for this green icon. It seems some work has been done on the Hulkster since the original trailer was released and what I saw looked much more impressive. So now, I'm excited to see what could be a pretty damn cool Marvel movie.

Stay tuned for more from our visit to the INCREDIBLE HULK edit bay including full interviews with Leterrier, Hurd and Feige, as well as a full recap of all the coolness we saw!

OH YEAH!
Every single site and person that has taken this tour has said the same thing. "I wasn't expecting much but WOW was I impressed! Hulk looks great." JoBlo, Latino Review, IESB, etc.

Terrific buzz is already starting. I expect a great film.

HULK
With this Hulk, Universal probably felt like they had a second chance and wanted to start over. Not entirely from scratch, but with new idea's. About the Superman, they have made a lot of those movies and not so many people like RETURNS. It feels like whatever studio is at the helm of STEEL, right now they have ideas and probably making a script, but they are just waiting for while until TDK extravaganza settles.

I wouldn't say it sucked sour donkey balls but it definitely was not great, but neither was Lee's Hulk. And I'm not asking Marvel/Universal to make Superman it was a general statement.

First, to Beech. Because the Superman movie sucked sour donkey balls. Second, the more I see of this movie, the more I like the looks of it. I love how they are trying to emulate the TV series. I grew up with that show. I can't wait.

Meh ... I can wait to see this one on DVD. My question is if they can make two of these movies why they hell can't we get another Superman made?

NICE!
Everyone seems to be on the same page from each site i go on. The trailer was weak and didn't have much hope for it and now they are all excited and cant wait for it. Thats good news to my ears. Heres hoping! Hell, Even if its 1% better then Ang Lees then I'm happy

been waiting for this movie since i first heard about it...Ang Lee's version wasnt horrible but it could have been done in less time and could have had more transformation in it for me and his dad becoming absorbing man at the end kinda blew

NOPE...
Love the Ang Lee version, couldn't care less about Leterrier, Liv Tyler REALLY isn't Jennifer Connelly. I'll wait for a DVD rental.
Next!
