Not maggie gyllenhaal, would batman really date a frumpy sagging girl who appears to be 40 but in real life is only 20 something, she is a good actor but would not fit that part, she has to be attractive and be a average actor (katie holmes was perfect, never thought i would say that)! |

I'm down with Aaron Eckhart as Dent. I think that's a solid bit of casting. Better than the Ledger casting in my opinion. As for who takes over the role of Rachel Dawes - I for one still hope they don't keep the character at all. But if they insist upon it, I'm not really liking any of the aforementioned choices. While Gyllenhaal is a good actress, I just don't see her in that role, plus she looks NOTHING like Katie Holmes, unlike what some previous post said. McAdams is solid, but I think she's become a big enough actress that she really wouldn't want to take over the role that a lesser actress once held. Just my opinion. As for Blunt, I'm not really all that impressed with her. She just seems like the hip actress du jour. |

Those horny bastards over at "Latino Review" have got their fingers on the pulse of superhero flick casting news so when they throw out a name for a role in a major comic book film franchise, we pay attention.
