The difference is that those series don't have $150 million invested on each comic, and the sales aren't tracked and ranked and scored so closely. Movies are EVENTS.
And when a giant franchise fails, it should force studios to take risks and be more creative... How can they do that if they're too busy retreading the same ground over and over? |

Nah, I disagree. The new Hulk film was awesome. If that's what it sometimes takes to make a good superhero film, then let them remake Daredevil if they want to. I mean, comicbook series are rebooted all the time when new writers are brought in. What's the difference? |

Thanks, morix.
That's why Hulk's mediocre returns are sort of making me happy... It shows that you can't just repackage the same movie over and over and hope you get it right. Do it right the first time, like with Iron Man. Take the extra time. |

I have to sort of agree with justinpdrew. If the studios want to keep re-making the same movie over and over until they make it good, then they can give me back my money until the good one comes out.
Daredevil sucked hard. That's no reason to go back and make it again, though. It's best left in the past and forgotten. |

Man, I can't wait for them to revision Iron Man! They need to do it with Spike Lee directing, and Paul Dano as Tony Stark. Ooh! And how about another Incredible Hulk reboot? I mean, this last one was good, but let's play the slots again and see what we get! Fuck it, I can't wait for them to remake Punisher: War Zone!
Why does it have to be just comic book films? I hope they re-imagine Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Speed Racer, and The Love Guru! This time Don Cheadle can play the Guru Pitka!
RE-IMAGININGS. LAME.
Cool poster though. |

AGREED WITH RABBIT TOO
Remaking Daredevil would be awesome. I enjoyed the Afleck one when it came out...when I was thirteen, but now that I compare it to the "good" MARVEL movies coming out. They really need to go back and clean up the mess they made with Daredevil. I wasn't looking forward to the Incredible HULK at all, but I actually fell in love with it. So...There is still hope.
I'm hoping that in a good long time we can revisit X-Men. I enjoyed the 1st two a whole lot, but the 3rd just made me think they could do so much better then that. |

AGREE WITH RABBIT
Bring back Daredevil and make it gritty and dark. Its how Daredevil should have been in the first place. I'm hopefully getting a Joker tattoo July 18th before I see the movie. Not necessarily Ledger inspired but I'm sure it'll have a touch of him in it. |

LETS SEE MORE
Not really about the poster, although that's still awesome. But with the success of The Incredible Hulk, Batman Begins, hopefully Punisher: War Zone, why isn't anyone thinking of remaking Daredevil properly? Put Michael C. Hall in the red tights this time around and goddamnit!! Make it dark like Batman. Maybe Chris Nolan could direct...
Oh yeah, just want to say that I still liked the Thomas Jane Punisher. Still looking forward to the remake though. |

I look at this poster and I can't help but think, "Man, the Joker has gone so emo." He looks like he should be sitting in a dark room listening to Morrissey and The Cure. |

SO CLOSE....SO VERY CLOSE.....
We're less than a month away from possibly the greatest summer blockbuster this year, next year, and until Nolan's third Bat flick hits cinemas in what, 2011? I only wish Heath Ledger could see this. If all goes well, he'll get an Oscar. This is a comic-movie's greatest portrayal of a villain ever. R.I.P Mr.Ledger. And now, on to The Dark Knight! |
