Chipmunks 2 a go May. 13, 2008
Source: Variety
by: Omar Aviles

ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS Those creepy CGI furballs purporting to be the titular characters in ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS will be back to creep us out in a sequel for which Fox has already set a release date of March 19th, 2010. The original, after all, made a ridiculous amount of money worldwide and continues to make serious green on DVD. The sequel doesn't have a script as yet nor have they asked Jason Lee to reprise his role but it'd be silly not to and a script for these films is more of an afterthought than an actual pressing concern. What matters is that those CGI chipmunks have some sort of black magic that they'll be working once again come 2010.

Extra Tidbit: When it was first released, prints were delivered to some theaters with the fake titles' SIMON and HAIRY BEAST.

Looks like I know what summer movie my kids will be dragging me off to. They love the first one, so I'm screwed.

Its actually not a bad idea, Granted it was a horrible movie, and everyone just was there for a pay check, BUT it made STOOPID money!

CHIPMUNK
The movie was ok, I was expecting more, I'd give the sequel a chance but the Chipmunk (Pip) in 'Enchanted' was more likable than all three munks from 'Alvin'

I'M SO HIP TO THIS...
that I masterbated ferociously upon reading the news in this article, so much so that I finished before I actually finished reading it.

Mercy, how I love myself some sweet chipmunk ass.

Hopefully this time, Alvin won't be taking a shower in the dish washer... but will instead be drawing himself a scented bath in the sink.

Oh snap... here I go again!!!!
