Broadbent in Indy 4?

A scooper for “Ain’t It Cool News” is claiming that veteran British actor Jim Broadbent has been cast in the upcoming sexagenarian actioner, INDIANA JONES IV, as, apparently, a Marcus Brody-like (played by fellow veteran British actor Denholm Elliott in previous installments) character. The scooper’s exact phrasing was “…I heard Jim Broadbent confirm that he is in Indiana Jones IV…“, which implies that Broadbent may have let the tasty scoop slip during an interview. Since we don’t have a link for such an interview, we’ll just call it a juicy rumor for now. If he is cast, however, what say you, schmoes and schmoettes? Though it seems unlikely there’d be any dissenting voices against an actor as talented as Broadbent. Actually, there’s a good question – anyone think this is bad idea? THE FOURTH INSTALLMENT OF THE INDIANA JONES ADVENTURES is scheduled for release May 22nd, 2008.
