I read once this film was Marty Scorsese’s passion project when he was fresh out of NYU film school, but he made BOXCAR BERTHA instead, and the rest is film history. One could only have imagined what could’ve become of Marty’s already-illustrious career had he kicked it off with BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAUA, like he once dreamed. Oh well. Finally though, more than 30 years later, Walt Disney has decided to take it upon themselves to make and release this film, and BELOW is the poster. The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis and bunch of dogs who sound like these people: Salma Hayek, Drew Barrymore, Edward James Olmos, Andy Garcia, Piper Perabo, George Lopez, and Cheech Marin. It focuses on a Chloe, a rich chihuaua in Mexico who must find her way back to Los Angeles. Yep.
